My career in programming and design grew from an early interest in fine art. In 2010, I enrolled at Frederick Community College in Frederick, Maryland, earning a Certificate in Computer Graphics and later graduating with an Associate of Applied Science degree in Graphic Design. I also completed an Undergraduate Certificate in Information Sciences and Technology through Penn State World Campus.
In college, I began freelancing for local marketing firms, and my first client was WebsiteGrowers.com, Inc. I joined WebsiteGrowers as a full-time employee in 2014, where I was a key member in day-to-day operations for the enterprise of more than 100 small business and corporate customers. My responsibilities at WebsiteGrowers encompassed many aspects of the business, including user experience design, website development, search engine optimization (SEO) consultation, and customer support.
In 2015, I began traveling internationally. I gained long-term residency in Thailand while working as a remote website services contractor for various U.S.-based marketing firms and small businesses. While abroad, I pursued a bachelor’s degree in Software Development and Security with a minor in Economics through the University of Maryland Global Campus. After expanding my business into software development, I released several original applications, including a native mobile app for iOS and three WordPress Plugins with more than 5,000 active users.
Today, I continue to offer design, development, and SEO consultation. I provide SEO expertise and website services for two US-based marketing firms, their clients, and multiple small businesses. My clients trust me to demonstrate positive results every month in conversions and search rankings improvements.
